Ayam Serama
They are the lightest weight chicken in the world which can be differentiate by their upright posture, full breast, vertical tail feathers held upright and tight up to the body and vertical wings held down nearly touching to the ground.

Sarawak Pepper
Famed chef Alain Ducasse, world-famous French chef quoted that Sarawak black pepper tends to have a pleasantly refined flavour and a relatively mild heat. Also, it is great for seasoning meats and poultry. He also quoted that Sarawak peppercorns are highly prized in the world of specialty spices for their high content of piperine. Using just a small amount of these peppercorns will give a beautifully aromatic heat to any dish.

Research Department of Agriculture Sarawak has released an improved variety named Semongok Aman. Semongok Aman has a marvelous fruit set, bigger berries and longer fruit spikes. This newly developed variety is considered more uniform in ripening and allowing the crop to be harvested over a shortage span of time. It is proven that Semongok Aman has higher contents of piperine, oleoresin and volatile and non-volatile oils which is very suitable for the production of premium pepper products.

Sarawak Exotic
Borneo is unrivaled in terms of its diversity of tropical fruits. There are a few wild and semi-wild fruits that can be found in the local market places, but may still be unheard of in other parts of the country. For instance of fruit species that have the potential for exploitation include Borneo avocado, giant terap, golden fruit, dabai, honey keranji, jungle orchid, crystal fruit, petai, red mango, salak, tampoi, and mawang.

Sarawak Crafts
Sarawak is a multi-cultural state which reflects in the richness of its traditional crafts. These different ethnic groups have their own unique artistic sense. Each of this ethnic group is capable to produce unique and practical items. This characteristic makes Sarawak particularly eye-catching to insider and foreigner alike as its great mixture of people all posses a distinct, rich and engaging material culture.

There is no mass production of these native arts which ultimately make these souvenirs varied and special. In fact, these local handicrafts can be found in collector’s gallery and homes all around the world. These native arts have an aesthetic value that fits into contemporary lifestyle.

Traditional weavers in Sarawak are recognized to be the finest weavers in Borneo. The best example is the Pua Kumbu blanket which is woven from individually-dyed threads on blackstrap loom.
